Penny is sixteen and hopes to continue her education at the prestigious Lady Alicia's Academy for Girls. Having passed the required entrance tests, she is invited for an interview with Mrs Thomas, the Deputy Headmistress, who asks her if she is a member of the Lauma Discipline Programme. Penny becomes increasingly nervous when she learns she will have to join the Senior Discipline Programme if she wants to secure her place in the sixth form of Lady Alicia's. Having accepted, Penny then finds out what she has let herself in for... regular painful disciplinary assessments, and at least a dozen adults with disciplinary rights over her. Accumulated 'negatives' result in punishment spankings and a very sore bottom. Her world is turned upside down when her father attends discipline courses and begins acting like a converted zealot; never having spanked his daughter before, he demonstrates how efficiently he can wield a strap on her bare bottom. Penny slowly gets drawn in to the programme and is thrashed 'for her own good' but then steps back and re-evaluates... to plan how she can opt out of it.
