This edition of Like a Mighty Army is a revised and updated version of the first edition printed in 1955. Essentially it is an improved version, being properly honed and suitably expanded from the perspective of more than two decades of review and an additional generation of fascinating history. It is fitting and fortunate that Historian Charles W. Conn, under God, should prepare this splendid enhancement of his earlier work.
