Thomas Aquinas is the one who ruined natural theology. Not that Thomas was the first to mix Greek philosophy with theology, but he has done the most damage in syncretizing the pantheistic notions flowing out of Athens with the ontologically distinct and self-contained God who personally revealed himself in Jerusalem. Therefore, if natural theology can be saved, it must be saved from Thomas Aquinas.
